Jill Purser IDTA (A.MJ, A.TC), DipLCM (TD)

Jill trained at Kathy Stokes School of Dance where she was a pupil from the age of 8 and completed her dance and teacher training. She became assistant teacher at the school in 2007 when she gained her Associate status with the IDTA. She passed her Teaching Diploma in Music Theatre singing from the London College of Music in 2011. A regular over the years on the local amateur musical theatre circle, Jill has performed in many theatre productions ranging from musicals to pantomime. In October 2006 she performed in the world premiere of Berlin, a new musical written by Tim Spencer, at the Butts and also performed in a concert version of the show in the West End in June 2007. She has also choreographed and musically supervised for George Eliot Hospital Pantomime Society. She to returned to the stage in June 2016 where she was a member of the Dance Team in Coventry Musical Theatre Society's production of 42nd Street at the Belgrade Theatre. Jill has an Honours Degree in Communication, Culture and Media and alongside her teaching worked for 10 years for John Good Limited producing Programmes for theatre productions before moving in 2015 to work as a Sales and Marketing Assistant for a company in Coventry. In 2018 Jill had her son, Evan and Fern followed in 2021 so her time is now spent looking after them whilst teaching at and running the dance school.
